We’re proud to say we’ve bought over $75,000 of product and gifts direct from local Australian food and gift businesses since our launch late 2015. We want to say a MASSIVE thank you to our loyal customers who love sharing the wild splendour of Australia with friends, family and their overseas VIPs; as well as thank you to all the Aussie businesses who produce high quality food and gift-ware for us to curate and sell. WHAT DOES AUSTRALIAN MADE REALLY MEAN FOR US?

We are a certified and proud  ‘Australian Made Retail Supporter’. This means the Australian Made Campaign has made sure that the product we are are supplying in our gift hampers is actually Made in Australia.  You’ll only find the best Australian wines, beers, products and gourmet food in our hampers that come in our signature boxes featuring native Australian fauna and flora.

Research indicates that 89.8% of Australians recognise the Australian Made Logo and associate it with tastier, higher quality products. And we believe ours really are!

We do make SOME exceptions to the ‘Made in Australia’ rule – and this is when an Australian owned company is making products where proceeds of the profits from the product go to great local causes. We have two of those – firstly, the Australian Koala Foundation (royalties to help protect the koala and its environment); and Alperstein Design’s products (royalties directly benefit local indigenous artists and their community).

Research published by the Industry Capability Network (Economic impacts of the manufacturing services sectors) shows that for every $1m of new or retained manufacturing business in Australia, the following effects flow through to the economy:

• 10 full time jobs created
• $333,900 of tax revenue generated
• $985,000 worth of value-add generated
• $95,000 worth of welfare benefits saved
